Welcome and thank you for using Fotr app, our website and our services all of which we refer to simply as the "Services."

We tried to write these Terms of Service “Terms” in human language to make it easy to read and understand. It has still the purpose of a traditional contract, so please read it carefully.

By using our Services you agree with the Terms. If you don't agree with them, then don't use the Services. It’s that simple :)

Terms of Using the Services

Your Photos We are not controlling the content of what’s being sent to us or printed. We try to keep it that way as the photos are your personal property and everybody has right to privacy. However you are responsible and liable for the content of your photos and breaking either copyright or laws for prohibited content such as violence, material that advocates illegal activity, photos that are offensive, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate. Fotr Services are for personal use only. Please inform us at info@fotr.co if you want to use our Services or any part of it for commercial purpose.

Print Quality

We are only responsible for printing your photos. Remember, all your photos are going to be printed, so you’re responsible for the quality of taken pictures. If your photos are shaken, shot in poor light conditions, loosing details in high contrast areas, badly focused or exposed we take it as your intention. So please be careful and use your best judgement before taking any picture with Fotr.


The price of film you can purchase includes all the costs. We try to be fair so we made same price for everybody. Price of film includes printing, VAT, charges to PayPal and flat shipping fee for the whole world.

Data Charges

You are responsible for any mobile charges that you may incur for using our Services, including data charges. If you're unsure what those charges may be, you should ask your service provider before using our Services.

Sample Pictures

We have included sample pictures on certain places within Fotr app and website, to demonstrate the capability of our Service. They’ve been sourced under Creative Commons Zero Licence. We tried to make the samples look as close to the final prints as possible. Please note, that quality and look variation might occur during printing because different devices might share the same camera model.


You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

The film names used for the our filter description are the brands and trademarks of the film producers or their respective holders. All these trademarks and copyrights are the exclusive property of their respective owners.


We hope you enjoy Fotr as long as you can, but if you decide for any reason otherwise, you can terminate these Terms at any time and for any reason by informing us at info@fotr.co

Shipping and Delivery

We print and ship your photos in 2 working days after you finish your film. To give you the cheapest price possible we use slow delivery methods. We try to improve this over time. Usually it’s good to see your print with a time perspective. It allows you to emotionally detach from the photo in order to consider the actual quality. As photographers say: “Let your photos marinate.”

So, the delivery usually takes 7–10 business days, depending on your location. Please note that shipping times are estimates only, they aren’t guaranteed. Deliveries may take longer, especially before holidays.


In the case of non-delivery, you must notify Fotr within a reasonable time after the products were expected to arrive.


Our complaint policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a reprint or refund.

Please remember we are not responsible for poor quality of source images. Prints of images that are shaken, poorly exposed, unfocussed or having other photographic mistakes are not considered faulty. Such images were most likely caused during exposure by handling the camera in a wrong way. Remember that good but also bad pictures are part of the game and what makes Fotr an interesting and challenging app for other users.

Replacements and Refunds

You have right for a replacement picture, if you have suspicion that the mistake occurred on our side during the printing. However there still might be a big chance the problem was caused by the wrong handling of the camera.

To be eligible for a reprint or refund please take a snap of your prints and sent it to info@fotr.co. We also require a receipt from PayPal or transaction id, the date when you finished your film and your email address. Once we inspect your complaint we will notify you on the status of your complaint. Sometimes we might need you return the prints on your own expenses, if your photo doesn’t show the defect clearly enough.

If not agreed otherwise, all valid complaints are corrected by replacement prints as a part or whole, depending on what’s been wrong. They will be shipped to you as soon as possible. Only if these prints are unsatisfactory you have the right for a discount or a refund for the faulty prints or service. If approved, the refund will be immediately processed and sent back to your PayPal account.
